Conditions Report: Status Quo – Have Snow – Need Snow More

Conditions in Golden have been in a status quo pattern over the holidays. We have enough snow to get out there and go for a ride; the access is in good condition with smooth trails and cleared parking lots. Expectations are everything right now. It’s totally possible to get out there and have a blast but the epic deep powder is taking its time to show up. It’s still early season conditions for the most part and avalanche dangers remain considerable in the alpine. We’ve had approx 10cms of new snow this week and there’s a approx 5 cms in the forecast.

CALL YOUR KMS!

There’s a bunch of logging traffic on both the Dogtooth FSR (Gorman) and North Spilli FSR (Silent). It’s your responsibility to yield to the bigger vehicles and a very good idea to let them know where you are.
