Conditions Report: Feb 19 – Sneaky Pow

Snowmobile conditions in Golden have been quite good lately. Smaller storms have enabled sneaky accumulations of fresh and there’s definitely some decent pow to be had. Temps have turned cooler but they are no where near the arctic temps on the prairies. Avalanche conditions look to remain moderate through the weekend and our grooming ops are going full. It’s looking like another good weekend of sledding out in Golden.

Golden has received anywhere from 20-40 cms this past week and you can see the variations of depth depending on what valley you go into. There’s definitely pockets of snow where you can have a lot of fun in. There’s approximately 13 cms in the forecast and alpine temps are cool through the weekend.
