Conditions Report: March 4 – Sprung Spring

Golden snowmobile conditions have been quite good in the past week but there’s also been a lot of avalanche activity. There’s been 40-50 cms of snow in past week and there’s another 30+ in the forecast. Temps are mild mid through the weekend and will then turn cooler. Avalanche conditions remain considerable and it’s heads up hockey out there. Grooming operations are continuing in all 3 of our managed areas.

Snow & Weather

SNOW AND WEATHER

KHMR reported 41 cms in the past 7 days and there’s approximately 32cm in the forecast. It’s t shirt weather in the valley bottom but up high it can still feel like winter. Looks like temps will remain quite mild through the weekend.

There’s been quite a lot of alpine winds lately so expect wind slabs and harder snow near Ridgeline.
