Conditions Report: Jan 30 – Dribs and Drabs

Snowmobile conditions in Golden have benefitted from some smaller accumulations in the past week with wind transports and consistent temps keeping things soft and not crunchy in the alpine.  There’s 13 cms in the forecast through the weekend with moderate avalanche conditions. The Silent Pass groomer is fixed and the trails are smooth at all our managed trail heads. It’s great weekend to get out for a tour with a less experienced rider.

Snow & Weather

SNOW AND WEATHER

There hasn’t been much snow lately, just a few cms, but the conditions in the alpine might be better than you think. The snow is soft up high and not crunchy which can save the day and if you seek out some good pockets you can still have a blast. Looks like about 13cms is forecast over the weekend.

Volunteers Needed! Please lend a hand if you can getting the wood into the sea can.
