The air is turning crisp in Golden and it won’t be long before we see the mountaintops turn white.  Winter is on the way!

We’ll have our webcam and weather conditions page live in early October. That’s where you’ll be able to satiate your daily need to see what the weather is doing in the mountains.

Membership

You can now purchase your 2019-20 membership for Sled Golden. Membership fees are:

  • Primary Adult Membership: $195 + GST per season
  • Secondary Adult Membership: $175 + GST per season (must reside at same address as primary adult member)
  • Senior Membership: $160 + GST per season (over 60)
  • Youth Membership: $50 + GST per season (16 and under)

New in 2019-20 we’re offering a Golden Ticket. The Golden Ticket costs $50+gst and entitles the bearer to $5 off at each of our gate locations, every time you come riding.  This is a great option for people who ride a lot but don’t want to be club members. You can also pre-order your Golden Ticket on the online store.

Once you’re a member you can come to our AGM – Thursday, October 24 at 7:00 pm at the Island Restaurant in Golden. This is where we review last season, plan next season, and elect our board directors.

Sponsorship

We’re also starting our sponsorship drive for the 2019-20 season. Sponsors are very important to our club, not only because the funding helps us groom trails, do summer maintenance, and leverage grants for capital projects, but also because sponsors show how much the community supports the club and our activities. Sponsors are an important political tool, similar to membership numbers. If you own a business, please consider sponsoring the club to any level you can.  More information on sponsorship is available here.
