Conditions Report: Weekend is the Time!

This week snowmobiling in Golden (and all of BC) will be about finding the cold and this weekend is the time to get it good before things warm up. The good news is that Golden is one of the best places you can be when the temps spike warm. Forecasts have our mid mountain temps holding below 0 degrees and that means the sledding will stay better here for longer! There’s lots of snow coverage in Golden and if you find the spots without traffic, then you’re into some deep goodness. The trees are caked white in the alpine. The avalanche danger remains considerable in the alpine. Quartz cabin has been re-stocked with wood and East Quartz has been track packed. – Keep reading for more info.
